Storytelling For Business

Having worked at Pixar Animation Studios for 20 years, I have learned many skills for creating impactful, emotional stories on both a film scale and on smaller scales like shorts and commercials. In this session, we’ll break down the barriers that sometimes exist in the business world, and not only learn about how great stories are made, but practice making them. We’ll explore premise, theme, controlling idea, structure, and character development. Past clients of this class have recently included Salesforce, Pinterest, Deloitte. This session will also explore pitching style and the use of failure, feedback, and iteration to create “plussed” work.

Hosted By:

Andrew Gordon, Directing Animator, Pixar Animation Studios

Upgrade Your Personalization Program And Engagement Strategy

Personalization covers a broad array of actions and activities, from email targeting, loyalty, and web experiences to marketing and serving existing customers. But to move beyond simple, single-touchpoint initiatives, companies need to build a deep and broad personalization roadmap with customers at the center. Join Forrester Vice President and Principal Analyst Ted Schadler to learn best practices for advanced personalization and how to apply Forrester's POST methodology — people, objectives, strategy, and technology — to help you find quick wins while building long-term customer engagement.

Join Forrester Principal Analyst Jim Nail and Senior Analyst Tina Moffett in a hands-on session to deconstruct your current approach to metrics and lay a foundation for a new measurement strategy that will connect the dots and make sense of measurement.
